this is a very special book I created that revolves around the story of mine and my dad’s relationship with photography and experience with leica

it is a leather book, lined with pieces of cloth. the pages are laser engraved with photographs I have taken over the course of the year. I wanted my dad to actively decide how to be a part of this special piece and therefore he has responded to 2-3 images that I have taken by photographing his own images based on them

my dad collects leica “pocket books.” book making, texture, and image making have always been of interest to me and this book has helped me make my own little pocket book which can also be used as a “pocket bag”
